Warm up: It seems as though the warm up from yesterday was ignored... so we have the same one today! Subordinating Conjunctions
We are getting ready to read "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" written by Martin Luther King, Jr. As a prereading activity, we are going to look at some vocabulary found within the text. To start, we will take a pretest, to see how familiar these words are to you. Then we will grade the test together, so you can see the answers. You will then have time to review and practice with the words for a time on Quizlet before we play a game with them. HOMEWORK: None. (But I still need those packets!)

SUB DAY. I'm out at a training today but this is the agenda for class today:
Warm up: Subordinating Conjunctions The sub should hand you a packet of activities to practice with the rhetorical appeals, ethos, pathos, and logos. Instructions and definitions are throughout the worksheets, so if you are sure to read those, you shouldn't have any trouble. HOMEWORK: Finish if not done in class. Warm Up: Grammar: Subordinating Conjunctions Today we did a Nearpod activity to learn the rhetorical appeals, ethos, pathos, and logos. If you were not here or would like to review, you can do a self paced version by clicking the link below: HOMEWORK:
