Pre-writing Day - Choose your essay prompt and begin brainstorming ideas on how to respond. I have examples of how you can brainstorm in the classroom if you need help organizing your ideas. Otherwise, you can use thinking maps (circle map, bubble map, tree map, etc.) to begin your thinking.
