Warm up: Vocab Review
GATSBY VOCAB TEST Explanation of how grades will be recorded for your rough draft checks. This information can be found on Synergy under the assignment titled "Rough Draft Check". Lesson on how to send an email. Emails sent home for those who are not on track with their essay. In other words, you need to send an email home if you do not have your intro and first two body paragraphs done. Please see the "Email Template" document on classroom and follow the instructions. HOMEWORK: Work on your essay. Warm ups: Vocab and practice. Test on Monday the 25th.
Writing the second body paragraph this week and getting teacher feedback. Essays are due on March 4th. If you've been working in class, you should have it done by Friday, March 1st. Go straight into the station you ended on yesterday. Spend 15 minutes finishing that station. Then we went to the library for a "Blind Date With a Book"! A fun way to get introduced to new Young Adult Literature that may be interesting to you. Check out anything that you fall in love with! HOMEWORK: Keep working on stations.
