We looked at an example first and then did number one of the practice together. You then completed numbers 2-5 on your own. We have learned about the rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, logos) and we practiced with SOAPS. Use both your notes and your SOAPS worksheet to help you answer six related questions on StudySync. Review answers to SOAPS activity from yesterday. Go to the library for Teen Read Week. Check out a new book for outside reading. Outside reading will be changing second quarter. You´ll need to get a journal for this class. Your journal should be smaller than a standard spiral notebook. It should be about the size of a book so you can easily carry it around with you. You will need this by next week. HOMEWORK: Get a journal (they can be found at the dollar store).
