Sorry I've been awful about updating the website lately. I've been focusing on that giant stack of essays. ANYWAY, here's what you should have been doing:
Thursday, Oct. 19
We reviewed the activity on page 92 and I stamped your notes and essay in progress. (You should have two sets of notes and two parts to your essay in progress; 3 stamps total.)
Friday, Oct. 20
Log in to No Red Ink and complete the grammar diagnostic. It is not a test, its just to see where you are with your grammar skills. If you were absent, don't worry about this. When done, we did essay scoring. I tried to introduce a new system, but I don't like it so I'm going to change it again. Sorry! Please bear with me.
HOMEWORK: Read and take notes on pg. 97-111. Do activity "Terror's Purse Strings".
Monday, Oct. 23
Assignment on Google Classroom. This has two parts. The first part is to use your notes and the text to make a resource chart for yourself on what effect each fallacy has upon the text as a whole.
HOMEWORK: Finish this. Pt. 2 will be done in class tomorrow.
