The first day of school is done! It was such a pleasure meeting every single one of you. I hope you've enjoyed the your first day in this class and are excited to start the year off on a positive note with me. I am excited to learn with you as we delve deeper into texts and work to improve our writing. Like I said in class today, I LOVE reading and I hope that I can inspire you to love it too, or at least spark a little interest.
If I didn't get to see you in class, or even if I did, please say "hi" as you see me around campus or come up and introduce yourself. Remember: I'm terrible at names! Do not fret if I stumble or forget tomorrow, Friday, Monday, or two weeks from now. It doesn't mean I don't care, but I promise I will get it eventually.
If you were absent, no worries, I will give you the handout we did in class upon your return.
Make sure you write your letter of introduction to me! You can find it on the back of the activity we did today. I will be collecting both the activity sheet and your letter (stapled together) tomorrow at the beginning of class. Start the year with an A!
