Period 3: Finish the story structure activity from Thursday, using the worksheet as a guide. Period 4: Choose any city in the U.S. and find a destination 42 miles away. How long would it take you to walk there? What supplies would you bring/need? Do you think you could run or jog the whole way? Elie and his father, along side other Jews from Buna, had to run this distance in the snow when the Germans evacuated the camp. Because of the fire drill, periods 3 and 4 did not do the same activity today.
